Hong Kong Poker Crackdown

Many were caught and charged with illegal poker playing in Hong Kong recently. Among those charged was a Merrill Lynch banker. There were eight people all together who faced charges of gaming in a gambling establishment, which is illegal in Hong Kong. Only betting on football and horse racing, along with a number lottery, is allowed. The eight men were freed on bail. $20,000 cash was seized by the Hong Kong police, according to reports. The identity of the Merrill Lynch banker nor the other seven arrested not released by the police.
